Americans sour on the drug war and want to legalize marijuana.
According to a new poll from Angus Reid:
'Only nine per cent of respondents believe the â??War on Drugsâ?Ââ??the efforts of the U.S. government to reduce the illegal drug tradeâ??has been a success, while two thirds (67%) deem it a failure.'
The poll also found that Americans are supportive of legalizing marijuana (55 percent) but very opposed to legalizing other drugs such as crystal meth or cocaine. You can read the full report here. (pdf)
