Israel’s Mossad head David Barnea recently revealed that Israel had foiled 27 Iranian plots in the past year alone. He warned that Iran would pay a price for these kinds of threats. In fact, Iran’s threats took center stage at a conference of the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism at Reichman University in Israel’s seaside city of Herzliya, where Barnea spoke. Israel’s defense minister also noted that Iran-backed Hezbollah has built an airstrip in Lebanon that could be used to launch drone threats against Israel.
