The United States appears to be seriously probing a Middle East deal that would normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. According to New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman and other reporting, U.S. President Joe Biden harbors ambitious hopes that such a deal could lead to a more integrated, prosperous, and peaceful Middle East.
