In one of the most egregious displays of military aggression the developed world has seen in decades, Russia made what appeared to be a surprising gesture of altruism - striking an agreement, which would enable the peaceful transport of grain from Ukrainian seaports across the Black Sea to countries in need. To be more precise, there were two deals: one - Ukraine, Turkey & the UN, and the other - Russia, Turkey & the UN.
