Minister of National Defence Mariusz Błaszczak told Poland's lower house of parliament on 3 March that defence spending should increase from the NATO-recommended 2% to 3% in 2023. He said this would enable Poland to increase the size of its armed forces, restore the reserve system, and modernise its equipment.
