New Labour Is a Natural Opposition

David Cameron has made much of the fact that Labour has offered “not one word of apology” for leaving behind the most unholy economic mess that this country has known for roughly a century. Indeed, Labour’s response to the Queen’s Speech and to virtually every proposal of the new Government has been manically aggressive and relentlessly critical – often with precious little attention to facts, or even to its own historically documented views. Nothing resembling contrition has come into the picture at all.
