Ivorians in Abidjan ventured out of their homes on Wednesday, some to collect water, as the city remained tense with the country's strongman Laurent Gbagbo holed up in a subterranean bunker and forces backing his rival Alassane Ouattara assaulting his residence to try to force him out.
