A year ago, RealClearWorld offered our first list of Top International News Sites for 2008, honoring the five sites that have proved to be valuable in the daily hunting and gathering of the most important and influential global news and commentary.While those five publications - World Politics Review, Japan Times, China Post, Der Spiegel and Al Jazeera - all remain mainstays in our daily updates, we have decided to honor five new publications for 2009. These sites, not necessarily new to the scene, have become staples in our daily coverage, helping us better canvass the world news scene even more comprehensively.We are as ever grateful and appreciative of the support and kind comments we receive daily from the editors and writers from these publications - and all other publications we link and cite.
