Russian computers accounted for 7.5 percent of the world's spam email in 2012, Sophos noted. Last year, one of Russia's spam kings, Georgiv Avanesov, was sentenced in an Armenian court for computer sabotage and given a four year prison term. In 2009 and 2010, Avanesov used spam emails to hijack roughly 30 million computers that in turn became a mini spam factory, churning out three billion junk emails a day. (AP Photo)
