No. 1 Usain Bolt

In a span of seven days during last summer's Olympic Games in Beijing, the Jamaican sprinter became a household name world wide. He won three gold medals, in the 100-meter, 200-meter and 4x100 relay for Jamaica, while shattering the world record in each event. Bolt's 9.69 seconds in the 100 meters could've been even faster if he hadn't slowed down in the final 15 meters prancing for the cameras and the crowd. Bolt now sets his sights on next month's IAAF World Championships in Berlin, where he'll take on American Tyson Gay in the 100- and 200-meter races.
