According to Forbes, Raikkonen in tied for the second-highest paid athlete in the world, with an annual income of $45 million, behind only golfer Tiger Woods. Raikkonen joined Team Ferrari following the retirement of the legendary Michael Schumacher in 2007 and immediately won his first drivers championship. He finished third in 2008 but helped Ferrari to its second consecutive constructors championship.
