Norway school reschedules exam to avoid outbreak of Bieber Fever.
While the world has taken note of a new Bird Flu variant in China, another, arguably more insidious, threat has flown under the radar: Justin Bieber.
Now comes word that a school in Norway has rescheduled exams in a preemptive strike against the notorious Bieber Fever. Five schools in Alesund will have their midterm exams rescheduled since those tests were due to coincide with a visit from the teen pop sensation.
John Stoll reports:
â??We considered that this was a battle that we could not win this time,â? Roar Aasen, the principal of the Blindheim secondary school in Alesund, told national broadcaster NRK. This year, half of the girls at Mr. Aasenâ??s school are expected to attend one of Mr. Bieberâ??s Oslo shows, according to interviews done by NRK. The Norway stop is the beginning of a Nordic leg of his current tour, which will take him through Copenhagen, two stops in Sweden and Helsinki.
